Rules

Rule 1: No spamming. Because it can be annoying.

Rule 2: Swearing/Cursing/Cussing is allowed. But don't use it every other word. You know, be realistic.

Rule 3: If you and another member need to argue, fine, go ahead. But keep it either to PMs or somewhere that no one can see.

Rule 4: No abuse to the admins, members, moderators, guests.

Rule 5: Your characters may fight. Your characters may have sex. They may get raped. They may do drugs. But keep it realistic. Can your character really get raped then *shrugs*... kill a horse, then be burnt alive, but get rescused last minute, all in one day? I don't think so... keep it realistic.

Rule 6: Don't play with sensitive topics without having that bit of sensitivity and knowledge. If you're not sure what we mean then PM one of the staff

Rule 7: Try and be polite... or at least don't be less polite than us admins who can be... unpolite, at times. ;)

Rule 8: Don't post in the roleplay boards without having your character accepted and in a usergroup first. If you do then you'll get warned.

Rule 9: No hackings of accounts.

Rule 10: No Godmodding - if you need a definition, PM one of the staff.

Rule 11: Try and use correct grammar and spellings. There's a spell check, use it. Put 'They're watching us' at the end of your application.

Rule 12: NO MARY SUE'S OR GARY STU'S! Your character MUST have a flaw. If they don't then we wont accept. Be realistic people, no one is perfect, and you're not, no one.

Rule 13: Don't use * or + or any other special character in your posts unless its in OOC. It won't be tolerated. If you are seen doing that then you will be warned. After that you might even be suspended. Its very annoying and the staff here take the rules very seriously.

Rule 14: This is an Intermediate Role Play site so that means no one liners or anything. Your post must be atleast 2 paragraphs minimum, thats like 4-6 sentences per paragraph. If you cant make a post 2 paragraphs then read the Roleplay Guide in the Welcome Board. 300 words minimum per post.

Rule 15: No Anime characters as the model for your character. Its kind of hard to have the reality of the role play when there's a cartoon character running around.

Rule 16: The character you are role playing must be yours. You can not have stolen it. We will not tolerate that. If you didn't make your character then dont use it.

Rule 17: No Powerplaying. You control your character and your character only. Don't try to control the thoughts and actions of another character or you'll get an official warning that will show on your profile. Put the rule word in pale blue and bold.

Rule 18: You can only have eight characters. If you have more than that now, get rid of one. We've found that people make so many characters and end up just leaving them or the roleplays aren't as in depth or yeah.. if you have so many characters, knowing them all can be hard. So basically 8 is the limit. If you do have so many, try and make them all somewhat different and in different usergroups with different personalities. It just makes things more interesting. No point in having everyone depressed and a loner, or everyone happy and a popular.

Rule 19: This concerns more of the older members -, you are required to write in the rule word. We've noticed that this hasn't being happening because you've wrote it before. But it's not fair for new members and just because you already have a character, it doesn't mean you're excused from doing it.

Rule 20: Again for older members -, it's more of a pet peeve of mine and the other admin, but where it says roleplay sample, you're not suposed to say 'pssh' 'I don't think so', 'how about no' etc. If anything, it's just rude and it makes me want to reject the profiles on the spot. It's arrogance and it's not needed. Instead just put who you play if you don't wish to put one. Or even better, just copy and paste a post. It's not that hard. And if anything, it just gives newbies the excuse to copy you. It's not a good example.

Rule 21: No double posting
